Greddy Profec B Spec 2 acts funny....
I just had my greddy profec B 2 installed a few days ago... I have it set up well for my Lo and Hi boost. There are 2 weird things though. First off when I start the car up and drive around if I nail it, it flashes red and limits my boost eventhough my boost limmiter is at 21.5 and my limit boost is around (44%)18 psi when I look down the controller is only around 13-14psi... Why is it hitting my limmiter that is not even close to 21.5 psi then limmiting it to 14 psi when my limmiter is 18psi. But once I click it to Lo then back to hi it holds 20psi all day long and never touches my limmiter.... I was wondering why the hell does it do that? Also I noticed that in Lo mode something makes a really fast clicking noise as boost builds but in Hi mode it does not.....

when you first start the car, it warns you that your in high boost just in case you didnt know
Switch it to low and then back to high for it to turn off
Its just there to make you pay attention to whats going on

Well I tested your theory and came up with the same conclusion. Start the car in Lo boost still the same thing till i change it from lo to hi then to lo.... Is this supposed to be like this? What a pain in the ***... Also what are all your thoughts on 20 psi to redline on 93 octane fuel? Some say yes even higher some say no..... Isn't the evo pig rich anyway.... My car feels really nice on 20 psi lol. 1 other thing my max boost is 20 psi but it fluctuates between 20.1-20.5 Is that normal or should I play with the gain some more?
settings
48% Duty Cycle
10% Gain
17 Start boost
21.5 limmiter
43% limmited boost

Yah I'm just not too fond of the stupid *** safety thing that happens when you first attempt to run full boost meaning 14.5 psi in Lo is full boost. After the car has been shut off.... Is that just the way it is?
