I got my Greddy profec B spec 2 installed today and noticed they did not install the Filter that goes between the pressure source and the EBC control unit running to the inside of the car. I was wondering how important this piece is. The manual says this MUST be installed. But then why didn't they install it? I was wondering if any of you left it off or not? I could always just cut the vac line and put it in there. Also the manual says you must put it in the right way but when u look at it there is no indication of which way is right....
I have a K&N Cone filter and 3" cat back does anyone with similar mods have some good settings? I am looking for some lo and hi settings.

Start 17 psi
Boost 50%
warning 20.5
Limmiter set to 40%
These seem to hold 19 ish....

How about max boost setting? I have been reading on here about the most boost you can run with no AFC on a fairly stock evo except K&N cone filter and 3" cat back exhaust. I have heard anywhere from 19-22 psi? Can I get some opinions on that?
