So, I had a problem where the car would die/ not start when i let off the gas. If I ever so slightly held the throttle, it would start normally and not die.

So I ordered part MD628318 ICSV
Amazon Amazon

as described in the forums here under this thread
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...out-gas-4.html

Just installed it. The car no longer dies, however my idle is around 1800at idle instead of about 950, where it normally sits. Question being, since the one from the factory didnt have the spring on the plunger and had tabs on the sides that wear out, should this OEM replacement work? Do I just need to adjust the ISCV stepper settings in ecuflash? It would appear that the plunger on the new one either doesnt go out far enough, or the ECU settings are different for the new design and I just need to change them. Does anyone have any experience with this? issues/ resolution?

You can try adjusting the idle stepper tables. Or if u go into iirc its sas mode where you can adjust the base idle screw then you can adjust the idle to the desired rpms, then tune the idle stepper tables after.
