My dream build is to go back and time and capture all the money I've spent on parts over the years, buy a Porsche and start a retirement account.

Fun right? When you take a step back, and realize there is nothing you would add or change, it's a dream build

It is definently fun as heck. Nothing more rewardable... That is once its up and running. Love working on the car and steping back along the way of the build.. Priceless... Almost like watching a child grow up.. I must say that for me at least, a dream build is an "unrealistic money pit with no limitations"... Its the build you wish you could do if you had the money to just go all out on the parts you just cant afford. My build is my dream build but it will be ever evolving with me as i get older... If it ever get to the point where there is nothing to do to it... A instant void will appear. Half my fun is moding and working on my car.. I will most definently continue to change my setup to keep the car fresh but will always look back and have no regrets with the car.. Aside from it being a money pit. But luckily for me my ex of 5 years cheated on me, so i said **** my house savings and decided to dump all the money in my evo... Lmao not a wise decision and is not reccommended in the slightest but definently a great expensive life experience =) plus with my new attitude toward life ( live for the day at hand not for the uncertain future) i ended up with a bomb new gf... Win win

Chris

My dream for my evo is mostly coming together already but things I'm looking for in the future:

Custom 2.3 shortblock (BR LW crank, Wiesco new gen HD pistons, Manley LW rods)
Fullrace turbo kit with a EFR7670
Alcon Evo X fq400 bbk
18inch wheels needed for the bbk

Other than that, little details like relocating the ACD pump to the rear, and doing all lightweight mods to the front to help weight distribution. I'd be very happy if I can get a 57f 43r distribution. Right now my car is 59f 41r as is, which is better than most.

In terms of dream build that could happen in the near future:

s2k track car
fullrace TS turbo kit with efr7670 (stock block)
JRZ coilovers
ap racing bbk
caged, 255 rcomps, flat bottomed

That would be so fun.

The rather distant future:

porsche gt3 rs 4.0
no mods

custom fab'ed CF chassis & body panels
2.4L 4G63 w/FP black
Evo 9 drivetrain
digital gauge cluster
10" touchscreen/tablet running Android + Windows 8 (for EvoScan/ECUflash)
all bolts/nuts/etc. replaced with titanium
Alcantara everywhere
maybe titanium or CF 18" wheels

Aiming for ~2,500 lbs. or less.

It's a combination of maximum weight-loss via exotic materials without compromising 21st-century goodies like infotainment and suede surfaces. If the Juke-R manages to sell, there is clearly a (small) market for super-expensive, quirky, unique, AWD beasts. I just don't have the capital to design and manufacture the CF chassis that is the foundation of the whole project.
