the B&B sounds alright, but I must say an evo was parked next to mine this weekend at the shop, and compared to my Ultimate Racing, the B&B did not compare in quality,performance, and price. The Magnaflow muffler looks alot better and flos better also than the B&B. The owner seemed to be happy with the system, but did admit to mine seeming nicer than his.

 

to each his own, but to me being the old fart that I am the B&B was perfect. Not, to loud, no droning in the car at cruising speeds, and I just can't see any other exhaust making more HP than this one. If you want something loud getting another exhaust, but I think this one is great, quailty, no problems at all with the install. Price is in line with other quality turbo backs.

 

Does the downpipe clear the two braces?

 

yes, no problem with the braces.

 

I know I am getting the hks 30th catback, but i wonder if the b&b
downpipe would be better than the hks downpipe. The b&b make so much power I just don't know about fitment issues i.e. combing the two. Anyones with knowledge would help.
