Yes, I am familiar with the above and nope, not tuned. Good idea though. Took a 400 mile road trip (very hot) and it nearly emptied the bottle. So, it does occasionally run. I need a light that tells me when it is on.

On the other hand, about a week ago I filled the bottle and since have only made short trips about town. So, today I topped off the bottle and it didn't take much until it was peeing on the concrete. Could that little amount have made the difference I thought I was feeling?

Can you retrofit the sprayer to a USDM IX?

Yes, a heat soaked intercooler will not perform well, and spraying water while moving will remove excess heat from it, so a difference can be felt. Go ahead and tune those IC settings with ecuflash, you will help your car a lot more.

About that light you mentioned, I also wanted to have something that let's me know when the system sprays, I though about installed a led to the pump wires, so whenever the pump gets current, so would the led, I could install the led next to the IC button and I would know when it is actually spraying. I might tackle that project someday

Yeah, I guess I should set it to spray on knock. If the car behind me has his wipers on I'll know I have a problem.

Removing it will not cause any type of CEL or anything. It will be fine.

Downgrading cars! Awesome! I might just remove my intercooler and turbo as well. The car will weigh less too! It will look cleaner under the good without all those turbo pipes and Hose's and other garbage!

Any idea how much the whole IC sprayer system weighs once removed?
