Clutch Issues

Hi,

After doing a search, I cant find anyone else with the same situation. I have a 2005 Evo viii with 51,000 miles. The check engine light came on the other day and is coding out with "clutch performance". The clutch is less than 10,000 miles new. It grabs fine and does not slip a bit. What I have noticed is that the clutch pedal does not recoil back up all the way and I find myself pulling up on it with my foot. After that, the pressure grabs alot sooner. Does anyone know why this is and how do I fix the code. I already tried clearing it but the code came back.

Thanks for any help.

Ill hook the scanner to it at work tomorrow and get the code. The clutch is an ACT clutch with flywheel.

Try bleeding the slave cylinder.

My slave is the original one.... Only ones I ever see fail were cars that sat for a while.
