I just recently bought my EVO like 3 weeks ago, and it came basically stock with just a Perrin intake, new lower intercooler piping, short shifter, and a few other things, so after purchasing AMSOIL to put in my car my plan is to get a catbcak on it, and im very interested in the Invidia N1 catback, and was wondering if anybody had any insite on these exhausts or know of a better one around the same price ($500)?

 

I haven't heard anything negative about the Invidia. There are several reviews if the exhaust that can be searched on this site, but overall it looks like it should be a good exhaust.

 

The only reason I didn't get one was because the reviews say it was on the loud side.

 

the invidia is a little loud for my tastes, also they drone pretty bad on the highway. Go cruise youtube and find one you like the sound of then try to get a good price on it. If you shop purely on price you'll often be disappointed.

 

I have an invidia N1 on my 03 and i love it. I have the stock cat and a RRE 3in ss dp. It sounds good I have no complaints. As far as it being loud i dont think its that bad at all. cruising on the freeway i dont even notice it. It does open up nice but is it not loud in my opinion. Its quieter than a lot of evos i know. I would recomend this exhaust to any one looking for a good exhaust note.
