Picking up my EVO tomorrow

Well, my STi is in the shop where I may leave it for a closed deck forged internal motor swap. That thing is going to be just plain sick when it's done. Anyways, I needed another car to drive and the only option I truly love is the EVO, so I got myself a Silver 03 to match my Silver STi. I am pretty excited about it.

My STi has coilovers and a bunch of other mods including an FP Green turbo. Thus far it is on stock fuel and EM because I am waiting on the Turbo XS UTEC. Even in it's unfinished state, it pulls like a freight train.

I am going to try to give myself some time before I mod the EVO, at least until my STi comes home. I don't think I'll have much of an issue getting the EVO to keep up once the mods start. I am thinking about going the Buschur route with this one. It seems to me that the EVO will be much easier, in fact, to extract power from. Should be fun.

For any haters out there.... Yes, it is possible to appreciate both cars for the fine rally bred machines that they are. I feel lucky to own both.

Kick *** dude.

I'd have both if I could afford it. I've driven an STi and that thing is a monster. But since I already own a WRX, I think I'd opt for the EVO next time around. I'm addicted to handling!

I'm jealous.

Thanks guys. I am self employed (own gas stations and washes and stores), and I work my tail off. I love the high end stuff like Porsche, BMW, Benz.... but I got the rally bug a while back and have not looked back. These cars are too much fun. I don't like the idea of giving Mitsubishi my business (because they treat there customers like ****), but I figure that I'll have my STi to rocket around in when my EVO breaks, and vice versa.

BTW, is it really as bad as everyone says? The dealers denying warantee for BS reasons? That sux. I would really put the hurting down on a dealer who did that to me. Thankfully I think I can afford to get the car taken care of on my own.
