I've bought from lancershop & mitsubishiparts.net before. Both were ok.

Send pm to strictly modified, they had cheapest price for OEM kit. Or there was a guy posted gate timing belt kit for evo 8 for good price.

The lancershop link you have does not include everything needed for a 60k tune up (serpentine belt).

You have two options when replacing belts: OEM or Gates.
OEM is ideal because obviously it's what the car came with.

Gates is a lot cheaper, but many people use it with good results, including a major shop in LA that competes regularly at local road courses.

Check Extreme PSI for the timing kit, your choice of belts. They also have everthing else.

I got the OEM parts with gates belts and then got a Gates water pump from elsewhere for 55 shipped tmd.

gates meets or exceeds oem specifications. it is everything you'll need for the 60k service.

Nothing wrong in the way the Gates kit performs. I have it on my car right now. But its loud. Sounds like a whine that changes pitch with rpm. You will definitely notice the difference unless you have one of the louder exhausts available.
