hey guys i just wanted to start this to hear the ups and downs of anyones cam breakage

i went to import alliance and unfortunately broke the mivec cam i was doing highway pulls the night before and logs no issues waxed it the next moring and got to the exit for ia and nothing crusing at 70 and lost power like i had no spark pulled off to find the timing alomost jump and the cam gear crooked damn bad luck

 

Sorry to hear what happened man! I was the silver evo parked with the other GA evos in the Westin Parking deck. Hope you get it fixed soon!

 

Why did it exactly happen?

 

its the old kelford cams apparently i broke just the intake cam right where the mivec oil supply is cross drilled snapped.

bent 4 valves and posibly putting just the stock intake cam back in any sugestions it should still work decent
