3/4 throttle ok WOT throttle not good!

i was driving my car. Everything was ok last time i drove it WOT. A week later go to drive it. I go 100% throttle n the car spools up then the the car just cuts like i just left off the gas pedal even tho its still to the floor. If i got 80% throttle car is fine. what could be causing this?

Sounds like fuel/boost cut to me. The cut is initiated when your load exceeds a certain value for more than a certain amount of time. E.g. Your boost goes over 23 pounds for over one second. It stops your engine from over boosting and running lean.

How much boost are you running? Does it happen in certain gears or at certain rpm?

not boost/fuel cut. im working with him to trouble shoot the issue.

didn't start occurring until he filled up with new fuel.. i think he put 93 in the car by accident based on what he said over the phone, but ill know more after he performs all things i said to trouble shoot.

ill update once we confirm/find the cause.

cars boost cut is set @ max, cars running 25psi on 93 octane no knock counts, has a walbaro fuel pump. Think something do to with injectors? the car does have 99k on it.

I've been driving the car very slow so that it doesnt go out on me, until I get this worked out. I tought I found the leak the mbc had a oring that was torn, but that didn't fix the issue. The fact that its going crazy @ idle is what give it away. it shouldn't jump to 18x. or drop to 12 while @ idle it makes no sense.
i think you're in the wrong thread.. lol or you hijacked this one?

ok found the problem! not 100% sure because i have not replaced it yet. But according to JNZ Tuning The FPR is leaking boost at anything greater then 6-7PSI. This was tested by throwing presser threw the whole boost system and you could hear it leaking. They clamped off one Vacuum line at a time and got it down to the one that was leaking. Then they took off the fuel line going from the FPR to the Fuel Rail. Air was going threw the FPR and getting into the line going to into the Fuel Rail ordering a new OEM FPR tomorrow.

UPDATE: The FPR was not the problem! Replaced the FPR, i checked the fuel pump ground, alt ground, battery ground, put the car back to just wastegate "it was working for weeks like that." Checked the spark plugs "looked perfect and only have 1,000 miles on them" ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS PROBLEM COULD BE.

When i give it 100% it sound like a paintball gun. "misfiring"

it was the clutch fork stop not allowing the fork arm to come back all the way not allowing the clutch to fully disengage.. very weird issue.

im sure the FPR was faulty as well because he has a AFPR on it now for temporary testing.. maybe he will keep that on there.. makes no difference to me i didnt fully tune the car yet..
