Bogging at wot on 1-2 shift.

I noticed it bad yesterday. I hit it on 1st, then when I shifted to 2nd, it stalled out for a couple of seconds, then just pulled like crazy like normal.

Ive contacted Tom and am awaiting a reply, but I just thought it doesnt hurt to get on here and get some other views. Tom did tell me to check and see if nlts was on, its not. I read some of the symptoms of having nltsl on and driving it like normal, the symptoms seem to be the same, although mine is disabled.

I dont get any bogging anywhere else at all, just this wot 1-2 shift at the beginning of 2nd.

Will do Tom. I will try and get my buddy over here to record it, you can def here it in the exhaust.

I dont think its everytime, but I cant say for sure. I dont do many pulls starting in 1st on the street. If I do a pull starting in 2nd and run through the top of 4th, it runs flawlessly.

Everything is fine if I ease into the shift early.

OK, so Tom isnt seeing anything in the tune that would cause it to stutter like this right after I shift. Any other ideas to look too?

I know the beginnings and have checked. PLugs are almost new with maybe 1k miles, oem ngk plugs for a 9. Spoolinup cop ignition is fine, its got good gas in it(bp premium).

Anything else I could look for? Car runs great, other than this small stutter after I shift into 2nd and sometimes 3rd. It kills the acceleration though.

Please tell me you resolved this! Been having this problem for months! Only thing I can think at this point is maybe the clutch isn't disengaging quick enough and finally let's go in the lower gears because of all the trq and then when it lets go drives away again

I thought it was plug wires; installed SpoolinUP COP. Though maybe my plugs weren't good enough went to BPR8ES' and nothing. Just last week was tuned at BoostinPerformance. Car runs flawlessly at WOT! It's an amazing tune but in between shift it's still happening. Just like you are saying very bad and aburpt from 1-2nd I'll get 3+ second stalls I even have to let off the gas sometimes. When going from 2-3 or even 3-4th it does it sometimes but it's generally a quick abrupt loss of boost then quick back on it. My wide and will read --- almost like I'm not getting fuel? It's very odd can't figure it out :-(

Have ya'll figured it out either? You think it could be clutch related at all? I have 46k on an Act clutch and it' seems to be on its last leg but it's been doing this for months. Beyond annoying cant do anything really with the car because of this problem

Hey man, sorry I havnt updated it. I am still getting this slight bog on a hard 1-2 shift. I am starting to really hate my car lol. I have this pesky bog between shifts as well as funky cold start issues and now I even got a hesitation issue back again. If I am in 4th or 5th just barely on the gas, enough to keep the car moving, I will get this stutter/hesitation every once in awhile.

I had this hesitation issue a few months ago, and a coolant temp sensor seemed to solve it, but its back again too.

I do, its disabled though. This was the first thing Tom told me to take a look at and make sure it was disabled. After searching through the forums, it seems Ive got the same symptoms as if I had it enabled and the funny shifting guys get while driving around.

Yeah I had NLTS and it was causing problems for me. I disabled it, and it works fine now. My tuner called it a "plunger-like" switch for the clutch and it was disengaging slow. Maybe an idea? I don't even know where to look lol. Hope you fix it though, let us know how you do it!
