ya i dont know how to do all that stuff with the roms and V7. only tuner near me i would trust is Pure Tuning and i dont have that kinda cash right now to have it tuned. car runs perfectly fine otherwise went 13.4 at 105 today with a 2.0 60' so i dont think anything is really wrong here unless the car should be alot faster at i think 1500' above sea level.
Switch to roman noodles and save some pennies! A tune will do amazing things!!! You will easily break into 12's. Sounds like you like drag racing, trephra v7 will give you launch control, flat foot shifting, forced emissions passing, knock warnings that can detect the beggening of engine fail before it's to late, everyone will tell you the best mod you can do is a TUNE. i know it is. trust me i know this. i just cant afford it after just moving and dumping a whole TON of money into 2 freaking lizards. i dont drive the car hard very much at all. this was probably the first time in bout 2 months i actually opened it up. i keep looking for the cable to buy but i cant find a used tactrix cable the early version one that works alot better than the new one they are always sold already lol.
Same happened to me shortly after I bought my car in 2005. Loud *** V8's (this one was a straight pipe Cobra), caused me idle problems at the dragstrip. Was told then, and still believe it was the MAF. If I can feel the noise shaking my heart/chest, i'm sure the MAF is noticing.
This happened to me a few years back when I was running the stock MAF. In the staging lanes when cars were next or pulled up my car would idle real low and almost want to die out. This happened only with loud V8s with no exhaust. Now it has not done that since I'm on a AEM EMS and a different setup.
You would know if you were in limp mode. Pull your Maf plug while running, that is the limp mode.

ok this is the ONLY time this car has done this. when i would be sitting in the staging lanes or on deck if a loud car like a big block car with no exhaust would start its engines or rev it next to me my car would almost stall. the idle would dip and jump around down low until the car moved away from me. hell a funny car at the waterbox 50" away from me set my car off and it would idle down and want to die. my buddy said something bout maybe its setting the knock sensor off? not really sure why it did this NEVER done this on the street or anything. only when i was around a big block car that was really loud and stuff. any ideas? kinda freaked me out at first when it did it. i pulled the codes and the only ones are from the rear o2 that i dont have in. another thing is the car wont boost over 20-21psi no matter how much i turn the boost controller (grimmspeed). will taking a few turns on the wastegate actuator arm help this? stock 8 turbo mods are busher intake busher full exhaust upper and lower intercooler piping grimmspeed boost controller stock FMIC.
Its the MAF, this happens to me every time im next to a loud v8. It stops if you use speed density.
