even if you hit a huge patch of black ice... you would not spin out completely 180 unless you had that much momentum. if you came out slowly and carefully and hit the ice, you would have unable to affectively brake if going straight, or start sliding sideways. i mean yeah a cop shouldnt be able to ticket you because you weren't going fast but he did see your intention or desire to rocketing off the line... basically its your fault for wanting to go nuts in such a cold weather. easy with the gas, especially during initial acceleration.
