I would love to drive your evo, but I already own one. And besides, I don't eat in my car and the only thing that I drink in it is water.

I agree with you. If you look at his profile, he doesn't even own an EVO. What does that tell you?

You guys have to keep in mind that financially, this car is no more special than a maxima, or G35... and really not a whole bunch more impressive than most cars. The majority of cars cost low to mid 20k. This is high 20k. Big deal. Yes, its a much better performing car than the average $30k car. But it handles so much better that unless you give the keys to an absolute jackass, you got nothing to worry about. My wife is going to drive my evo at Buttonwillow next weekend. She has hardly any track experience. Worst comes to worst, she gets a fender bender and we pay a little to fix it.
I've let my brother and best friend drive it too. Any body with good shifting skills is allowed to drive the car. No body is going to try to slide into their first corner blindly. Its not a $100,000 car.

That's okay, i let only my parents drive my car, some peoples said i'm crazy to let my mum drive it, but i trust her.

she got that car since 2001 and no scratch at all. So I think an Evo 8 will be no problem.

If I drove a US EVO I would let a select few drive it. But the fact that I drive a JDM EVO VI no one drives it. Its not like I can go to a local shop and get parts if someone F's it up

i have no problem letting my friends drive my car when i'm with them, its fun cause they do get a better appreciation for the car after driving it. but i must say i have not let anyone drive off without me yet, don't think that will happen any time soon. oh and i agree with evogal, seeing how i'm a female too and guys need to get over their thinking that the evo is a guys only car.

My best friend that I have known 13 years drove it. My brother drove it, and my step father who owns 3 vettes drove it. Other than that no one else will aside from my Girl friend when she learns to drive a stick

The only way I'll let anybody drive my EVO is...

1. I died
2. The Mitsu mechanic is fixing it
3. My girlfriend arranged a threesome with Tara Reid in exchange for driving the EVO

If they are going to be blatently dishonest about damaging your car, they're a ****ty friend, get rid of them. I trust damn near every one of my friends to that extent. If they scratched my bumper, they'd claim it and offer to fix it. I'd either let them or go halfsies on it.

Interesting 50/50 we get here, which I believe is very acurate. Sometimes your friends baby it becuase they have utmost respect for your property, and sometimes you beat the **** out of it because you love it.

Weird.
