So my car was tuned by tom (TCompusa) hopefully he can chime in with some help. but was just wondering if anyone here might have some ideas for me until he gets back to me.

So my problem is ever since a few days after my tune any time i boost hard in my car i get some cel knock in 3rd-4th-5th gear at higher RPM. any time even if im just cruising in 5th and go WOT it flashes if i get around 85+ mph. and afterwards after letting it cool down a little it flashes even if i Two step? any suggestions? since the tune i installed a short route UICP and a mini battery that is all.

car is on 28lbs

MAP headstuds
Kelford 272
Supertech Dual S&R
Hallman MBC
Injen LICP
Short route UICP
Stock Diverter Valve

 

Bad fuel maybe?

 

i always run 93 from sunocco or shell and its been doing it for a while on different tanks of gas from different stations

 

if u get cel flash on 2 step, sounds like false knock. something rattling prob. some short route uicp rub on the tranny. check over ur work and see if theres any metal on metal contact

 

this was true uicp was rubbing on the tranny and making a clunk. thanks!
