Help: grimmspeed 3 port ebcs, can't boost over 15-16 psi.

Hello guys
I installed GSC S2's cams and got the base tune from my tuner.
I also installed grimmspeed 3 port ebcs as the installation manual from Grimmspeed provides:
A hose goes directly from turbo to ebcs - port 3
A hose goes directly from wastegate ti ebcs - port 2
A hose goes directly from intake pipe ( before turbo) to ebcs - port 1
Also, i removed all restrictor pills in stock hoses and installed new hoses.
My tuner said my evo should boost around 22-23 psi, but the peak boost was about 15-16 psi.
Also when I WOT about 3k rpm, there is a clicking sound from ebcs i guess.
Did I install ebcs wrong? Or my ebcs is broken?

As you described it, the EBC is connected properly. Make certain that the boost controller hoses are all zip tied, and not leaking. If you haven't done so, I'd also recommend a thorough boost leak check of the whole system. The GrimmSpeed is well made, and I'd be surprised if it was defective. The boost pressure is set in the ECU, so you really should get your car to your tuner if everything else checks out. I hope that it turns out to be something simple.

Thanks for input!
I did check boost leak, and there were none.
will it make difference if port 1 of ebcs opens to ambient completely and cap the nipple on intake pipe ?

Surprised that your tuner didn't want to see you after the 3port install. Your waste gate duty cycles (WGDC) have to be adjusted. They are different for each car.

Clicking sound is normal. That's the 3port valve.
