That's a closer match the Corvette C5R that I thought. Hmmm.

I've found somewhere that they are using mostly off the shelf HKS products for that car with only a few exceptions. That is for the engine tho.
And as far as I remember the shifter was not stock but something else... I can't find the link anymore.

I think you need to invest in more track time, Everyone is invited to the racing party, unfortunately it has a cover charge...

I usually budget about $2500 a year for track activities, so it's not much, but a $400 a month evo and $200 a month for track fun is more agreeable to maintain positive savings growth.. Going to the track is not that expensive. I just go too often. Most folks can spend $1000 a year and run 2-3 events.

thats not what i mean, i know anyone can go to a track, i mean it seems like all the goodies and cool stuff are built designed and tested in japan and they are racing all these specialized versions of the EVO and it seems like when they got a free moment, they
"patched together" an EVO and shipped it to the US.

The grass is always greener on the other side.. I just enjoy what I've got. I'm not even making payments on an Evo yet and I'm very impressed each time I take one out on the track.. There's always better, faster, etc.. I'll just enjoy the fun here and hearing of the fun they have there. Maybe someone over hear will get bored one day, fab up an Evo body in carbon fiber and let me run it around a few circuits.. In the mean time, I'm happy with my winter brown grass...

I agree with Mr2zx3, grass is always greener on the other side.
Recently you can buy a lot of nice cars in the US and it's not like it used to be before where everything was de-tuned for "american tastes". I think that the current offer is great but I'm again unsatisfied - this time because I can't afford to get all of that **** at once
Like I wrote in Other cars section, I sat in the Golf R32 and I like it but then, I want the STi too. And some more $$$ would buy me an M3 and the Corvette and so on
