2005 Evo 8 SSL

I want to put my car up for sale within the next week or so, I was wondering what I would be able to get:

05' Evo 8 SSL with 76,xxx. Car is pretty much stock except for intake, bov, boost control.
The body is pretty beat up, has a decent amount of scratches/dings, and a few minor dents.
Other than the body, the car is in great condition - leather still looks great in the interior, and the car is in 100% working condition. I just put brand new tires on it 3 days ago.

Let me know what you guys think, any input is welcome. Thank you in advance.

I would say around 17K based on the prices in my area.

depends on your area, define or take pix of body being beaten.

you will probably get 16 for it, but I got my car for 15,500 with 55,000 miles

prepare for the low ballers

KBB is telling me 18,250 for "Good" condition. I dont believe it would be considered "Fair" only because it has absolutely nothing wrong mechanically. I appreciate all of the input and I look forward to hearing what others have experienced/have to say.

Looks make up for a lot of the value. Presumed value or "true" value, doesn't matter. If it looks like crap, no one going to buy it, or they're going to lowball the crap out of you.

Well the inside "Looks" pretty damn good, so after I clean the car up a bit I should be good to go and have a somewhat easy sale

I just helped a friend sell his AS 2004 with 55K, all stock except for exhaust.
And it was almost perfect with an extra set of rims and snows.

Got only $17 and thats with a fresh 60K service too!

So $15 is not that far off if your body is still the same as last I saw it.

Ask for $17 on Craigslist and then you can come down.

Good Luck

Thanks man I appreciate the response. Body is still in the same condition you saw it last - I will put it on craigslist and I am also going to put it out on display on the road. Hopefully I will have a quick sale!

I don't know dude, i think you can get more then $15 grand..... id say at least $18 or $17 grand. remember the 2005 model had the 10.5 hotside as well as ACD. 03s and 04 didn't, so that also a good factor on your part. the fact its also fairly stock is also a big turn on for some people looking to buy.

I agree. Also have to take into consideration the leather is in great shape, and also has sun and sound too. Ive seen 03-04s with 80-100k miles go for 16-17, so I think I can get around the same.
