Autopower Roll bar question

Hey I picked up a auto power roll bar from a member, however it didnt come with bolts,

can anyone who has one, please provide the lengths of the bolts needed to bolt this in? I've searched everywhere and cant find the information, only the thread pitch. and on the DIY thread they only specify "long bolts" "short bolts"

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Is it a 4pt cage or 6pt cage, do you need the ones for the floor or the ones for the bars going back?

the legnth shouldnt matter much. Go find some random bolts around your garage and see if they are close to what you need, and then go get the right size and pitch. Id use 1.5 inch.

Heres what I ordered from my local nut/bolt guy. Was going to buy from AP but his prices were too high

BTW, I dont think you should be using grade 8. The grade 5 spec is there for a reason. Grade 8's are very strong in tension but not shear. The grade 5 is better for this application from what I have learned

Dont forget to post up in the thread. We need ya!! https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ar-thread.html

Qty (12) 3/8 Dia x 1 1/2" long Grade 5
Qty (14) 3/8" nuts
Qty (14) fender washers
Qty (2) 3/8" Dia x 2 1/4" Grade 5
You will need some lock washers as well if your not using Nylok nuts (Also, If I remember correctly the qty 2 bolts at 2.25" were for the rear diagonal bars & not for foot pads

if you can, try to get some larger backing plates welded on the car then bolt the roll bar in.
