My evo yesterday began to have a strange issue. First my AC/Heat vents stopped blowing air and the AC button would not work, along with locks not working, but after letting my car sit for awhile they all worked again, and then stopped working and started working again. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Everything else works fine.

 

Im betting a ground wire is F'd up. Done any work recently? My car once went ape **** when I did some work and messed up a ground wire along the way.

 

was thinking it was a ground. Havent done any work lately, not for about 6 months.

 

remove the kickpanel on the driver's side and see if you have a bunch of corrosion on the elec panel behind it...
