I had my cluster lights go out on me a month or two ago. Before it completely went out I noticed it kinda flickered when I first started the car/turned the lights on and then it would stay on. It's the gas/temp gauges that don't light up. I ordered new bulbs and they didn't look blown or anything, but I put new bulbs in anyways and still doesn't work. Has anyone ever had problems like this? It's kind of annoying not being able to see the temp gauge.

This has happened to every single person with a CT9A I think. happened with my 7and then 8. Just change the bulbs and you will be OK.

 

I did change the bulbs, but I didn't check any of the other bulbs. I only changed the bulbs where the section of the cluster wasn't lighting up, but those bulbs were still good.

 

it sounds to me like you have a short in your cluster, the bulbs dont always look blown in the cluster, i would make sure that they are making good contact with the circuit board
