Question gauge cluster light?

so, the right side of my gauge cluster light went out. i google about it and looks like it happens alot with the 02-03 OZ series. i pulled the cluster and its a burnt out bulb for sure. the only problem, no one carries it. not even the local mitsubishi shop. dont really feel like buying a whole new cluster so i can strip a light bulb out of it. anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thumbs up

I have replaced my original bulbs with LEDs (to change the gauge display to a blue color)... and the results were spectacular. The LEDs were a tab larger than the original bumbs and took a tiny bit of work for them to fit, but once they did, it looked great. I think this is what you're looking for if you'd like to go the same route I did: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...s%2F74_t15.htm

Keep in mind that you should replace all the cluster lights (I think 5 total - including the digital odometer/tripmeter) if you're going to go with LEDs. But for me, it was the best looking CHEAP upgrade I've made to my Baby.

They were a really tight fit. I sanded down the first 2 but it took too much time. So the next ones I just forced in there. Worked just fine. In other words, just make it happen

These are the exact ones. I'm 98% sure of it. They shipped fairly quickly too. If I remember right, I think I got them in 2 business days.

i dont mean to be a pain, but i read on a different forum that led's werent the best thing to put in your cluster. Would it be possible to post some pictures of your cluster so that we can all see if this other forum is full of crap? thanks in advanced.

It would be really nice to see the pics with LED's inside.

Mine cluster just went bad with 2 bulbs, it's irritating...

Problem with LED's is they not spread the light arround, but making a light spot instead...

So, please post the pic so we can see the looks of it

Thanks!
