Just Got My Car Back

just got my car back from turbotrix in jersey with my buschur stage 4 kit installed with 272's. all i can say is holy ****.
the car idle's pretty rough and the exedy twin plate chatters at idle also, but past 5k it all becomes all worth it.

the car freaking rips especially in 3rd and 4th gear. i was doing 120 before i knew it.

the car dyno'd 350.7 hp and 335 torque just on an S-AFC

lets just say i'm a happy guy

Good job, enjoy. I went with AMS, but Buschur is one of the premier guys, can't go wrong.

Take it too the track, before you get a ticket playing on the street

Will those 350/335 be on 93, 94 oct or race gas?

I know TTZ has an AWD Dyno. so thats very good numbers imo.

That actually would be a really good question. Knowing that the BR Stage 4 is around $4000, i wonder how much TTZ charged for Installation and Dyno Time.

If its not too much to ask....some $$ numbers would be nice.

That is a very impressive number for 93 octane and SAFC. I would definitely like to know the results on a BuschurFlash setup. Are you planning on doing the flash anytime soon ?

Great results! Congrats!

Jeff at turbotrix is going to be getting his own software to do custom flashes so i'm just going to have him do my flash when he has the software.

I can't really comment on what he charged me because there were many other things done on the car that were not neccessarily part of the buschur package. He did two gauges with an A-pillar pod which were a pain in the *** getting them through the firewall. he also did my clutch, short throw and a custom electronics job in the glove compartment with a profec b spec, turbo timer, AFC, and A/F gauge.

jeff always charges accordingly and has never screwed me for a dime. that combined with the fact that he stands behind his work is enough for me no matter what his price is

but to be a little more specific. with all the work he has ever done for me (which has been a lot over the years) i have never driven away thinking his prices were high.

I was at turbotrix the other day and there was a really nice white evo8 with a bunch of mods done...was that yours? After seeing that car and hearing the dyno resullts I have decided to do the same thing to mine next month. Are there any suspension mods done to the car? Your car looks awesome! I spoke to Mark when I was there and he mentioned that they will be flashing the computers in the next two weeks so I figure I will give it a month or so before taking my car down to be done.

Matt

It was probably mine because to my knowledge they guys at turbotrix do not have a whiite EVO. So thanks for the complement. I have not done anything to the suspension yet. but when the weather warms up i'll proabably be doing a TEIN Flex kit and sway bars.

If i am not mistaking, i think one of the guys there just purchased one not too long ago....2 weeks or so. For the last EVO-SQC meet there was a brand new one there, white with nothing on it and still had the temp license on the winshield.

Another question for you Rez. Those 350whp are from the BR Stage 4 + 272 cams only? or did you put any other "performance enhancer" on the car that would create more power?

Not trying to start anything again about dynos and stuff, but considering BR posted a 370whp on a 94 oct tune on their 2WD dyno and you got a 350whp on a 93 oct tune on an AWD dyno, shows that the Stage 4 is a great package to get. I remember on the other thread everyone complaining about 2wd numbers when David from BR showed those numbers, but as I can see from your setup, you are not too far away on a lower octane tune + AWD Dyno.

My $0.02

There is nothing more on the car other than the buschur stage 4 package. other then the fact that the boost controller is electronic, the clutch, and the short throw shifter thats it.

People (not saying you, just saying "people") ***** and moan about Dave using a 2WD dynojet....but they never take into account that he uses ZERO fans when dynoing his car. I am willing to bet that heat soak of the intercooler makes up for any difference in drive train losses between his 2WD dynojet and an AWD dynojet with good airflow over the intercooler.

Just my $.02
