Can someone tell me if the a/c is supposed to always kick on if the if the selector is on the windshield. It turns on if its in the cold or hot selection and the a/c button light doesn't come on. Before it used to come on, but now it doesnt. I don't remember it always being on unless put in the max a/c selection.

 

A lot of cars kick the ac compressor on when you turn on the defroster.

ok thanks, just wanted to make sure. Most cars i had you had to turn the a/c on if it was on heat

 

A/C on with defrost is universal.
