A/C always on

When ever the air is on, on any setting the AC is on. Obviously pressing the AC button button does nothing. The air works fine and its even almost neutral temp if turn the temp knob to all the way hot.

Havent looked at anything yet but.. any ideas?

I had an issue with mine where the heater knob broke off and it would only put out luke warm air. What happens is the stock gear setup they have gets worn and stuck in one position and you can actually manuall adjust the heat of the air but turning the gear under the dash. Refer to this video for help finding where it is.

Hope this helps!

thats not quite it.. lol i already fixed that problem! my problem is the acutally Electronic A/C button. I took everything apart and its definitely not mechanical. I think i just need a new A/C control panel, the entire electric panel, or the only 3 actual buttons.

Although i havent checked the fuses yet so.. ill do that too.

I'll probably pick one off a salvaged lancer and get it real cheap

Well now i cant figure out why the temp control mechanism MotownLancer had in the video is so tight. I can barely move it reaching under there doing it with my hand

Yes...as a matter of fact there is! Whether you have the time or patience to repair the worst case scenario yourself, is up to you...
