Is this a fair quote for carbon fiber wrap?

I am getting my trunk wrapped in carbon fiber ( I like the look but would rather not deal with buying a whole new trunk) . I was quoted $195 which includes home install and material for 3m carbon fiber wrap. Do you guys think this is a fair price?

No spoiler or emblems for install either.

You can always do it yourself! Its not hard at all and the trunk doesnt have many curves.

yes! i would suggest you diy too. very flat surfaces and doesnt require a lot of crazy cutting. it should be easy.

You should do it yourself. I just did my after market front lip. It turned out nice and that has alot of sharp bends. I would think that a trunk would be much easier.

i heard the 3M stuff peels and fades real bad in the extreme sun.not sure where you live, but there were some guys at the MB forum having major issues with the 3M wraps.some guys in CA and in AZ were having their wraps fade out pretty badly.

I live in NC so the summer time heat is pretty bad but my car is never really in the direct sun for long periods of time. I want to do it myself to save money but I'm just afraid it will end up lookin bad.
