Wow do some of you guys just get off on trying to prove people wrong on the stupidest little things?

-The pictures that Kris took of the car are right out side the shop in the parking lot, that is as much snow/salt that it has seen.

-The owner does NOT have a SL500, he actually drives a Galant VR-4 that was bought for $800 and is minorly crashed.

-Yeah the car isn't stock, but they don't claim it to be. I am almost possitive that you won't find a car on any showroom floor that will touch it.

The guys over there are good friends of mine and it pains me to see you guys picking apart stupid details and trying to disprove the facts and theories. Especially when they are sharing all of this very costly information with the public, when realistically 90% of the people that read it will never call them or order parts from them, yet get to use the info for free. I thought that the reason for a site like this was for owners to come together and to share info, not to try to rip each other apart.

Grow up guys, this isn't the middle school play ground

It just kinda urk's me.

They are cheating if they are dynoing the car in FWD guise only - the hp figures don't mean crap.

My old FWD Ford Laser Turbo put out a hell of a lot more power - and was faster - with the tailshaft removed or disconnected.

It's only cheating if you are looking for braging rights, for testing and tuning you could dyno the car underwater if you could make it run with repeatable results. The HP numbers reflect 650 crank HP, we also know based on past experience that a car that makes this kind of HP at the front wheels will trap a certain speed, and based on our driving experience with the evo and the way it is geared that with our current rev limiter that the car will go 10's if it can 60 ft in or under the mid 1.6's.
