Fuel pump turns off
Fuel pump turns off
Hey guys,
I have posted in other forums but thought this might be a better location.
I have an EVO IX, minimal mods TBE, Intake, AEM Wideband and Boost Gauge.
The car will start fine everytime but stalls after 5 seconds. I've opened the wires to the fuel pump and with a voltmeter can see it gets 12V to the pump when started then it drops to 0V and the car dies. I can start the car again but it will continue the same thing.
I do not throw any SES codes.
I have tried replacing the following parts;
1) MAF sensor
3) Fuel pump
2) IACV
3) ECU (another EVO IX stock one)
4) Areomotive adjustable FPR
5) Swapped the two fuel relays under the dash and replaced the one under the hood.
6) Removed my 3BAR MAP and put the stock MAP back on
7) Reflashing the stock tune from when I bought the car
8) Crank Position Sensor
9) Checked timing
It appears something causing the ECU to cut power to the fuel pump, but I don't know what. If I unplug the MAF sensor the car will run, but horrible afrs and not really driveable (this puts in limp mode I assume). If I run direct power to the fuel pump the car will run but once it warms up gets extremely rich and I turn it off, I never even attempted to drive it like that.
