I have a 3.5"Ets ets intercooler being delivered. This will finish out the basit bolt ons on my evo 8. I har it tuned befor and am around 300whp. I am going to install it and not get it tuned yet cuz i will have an ef3 turbo, cams, injects by spring so than ill get it tuned. But will i see any or i should say feel any gains by just bolting on the IC? Im hoping so. Hopefully i wont get alot of knocks from it.

 

Yes, you can bolt on the intercooler and go. With a tune you will be able to run more timing/boost and in the end make more power. Some users depending on the tune see a gain up front. The stock intercooler is notorious for heat soaking at the top of 3rd which causes knock. Our intercooler does a better job at keeping temps down which allows for the more timing/boost.
