Question about Redline oil
Question about Redline oil
Hey,
There is some bottles of redline 10-30 at my local Canadian Tire, and it is on for a really good price( 5 bucks a liter) But, upon reading the back I found out that there is no Ilsac rating whatsoever. Does that mean the bottles are really old? thus maybe the reason they are on blowout, or does redline just not have an ilsac rating? It has almost all other ratings you can imagine, and it says it is safe for cars with turbos and high temperature applications, but my only problem is, my service manual says only to use oils with an Ilsac rating.
Any input on the matter?
