head gasket fix?

whats up, im thinking i got a blown head gasket. not showing any other symptoms except a loss in coolant after each drive. other than that everything is normal.

does anyone know if a sealant (steelseal, hyper seal, blue devil, etc.) is a good enough temporary fix for a blown head gasket?

if so, how long will this last, planning to get this fixed as soon as the funds come in.

let me know. thanks

No other signs of a blown head gasket?

Smell of burning coolant from exhaust?
Coolant in oil (milkshake)?
Rough running, rough idle?

Are you sure you're not leaking coolant from somewhere?

You need to replace the head gasket if it's bad. There really is no temp fix that I'm aware of and why would you want to remove the head twice? Do it right the first time.

Ya... it's kind of a pita to do. lol... do it right. I'd be checking for other potential leaks if you don't really have other blown head gasket signs...

Yeah man, that's the only symptom I got. Everything else checks out fine. Im all for doing it right the first time but funds not in at the moment. Just trying to find a temporary fix due to the fact that this is my DD.

There really isn't a temp fix for a head gasket if that is truly your issue though...

Have you done a compression test or leak down test?
