i see no reason for people to flame the thread starter.... its actually interesting to see what the ages of the majority of owners nowadays are.

back on topic, i bought mine brand new in 2005 and i was 21 years old. im now 29 and i still own my badboy.

bought my first one at 24.

i've spent a lot time in "step up" cars thinking i would make the jump. never did, as i would always drive the evo to the dealership. in the subsequent drive home, the evo closed the deal every single time.

the only cars i consider nowadays are "step downs" such as the FR-S or the e30 M3 (cars that slide about easily and aren't worth too much, just in case) or things with more utility. i'm actually trying to convince my wife that our next vehicle should be minivan with stowable seats instead of an SUV. so, while collecting data for your project, you can count me in the "w/ kids" category.

wow wow seeing quite a few under 30 Evo owners here...insurance must be quite cheap and easy to get in the States.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said in Hong Kong...
