What are the best tools to use to get in there? I can't make ratchet or wrenches fit

I dont remember my exact combination but I do recall using a 3/8 ratchet along with a long extension, a swivel, a short extension and the proper socket(14mm?)

Be creative and dont get frustrated. Sometimes its best to take a rest for 5 minutes, settle down and an idea will pop into your head. That works for me at least

There is no easy way to do it. I have logger hands so i had my wife get the socket on there... a 4 or 6 inch extension with a swivel ratchet and I think I used a wobbly 12mm. After the wifes small hands got the socket on I broke them loose.

Tight enough. You're never getting in there with a torque wrench so as long as you use a new gasket and are getting enough torque on the bolts to crush the raised part of the gasket you'll be fine.

Does using more extensions make the torque readings, read higher or lower?

Operator error can screw it up. If you hold the torque wrench centered over the axis of fastener it should be the same. My opinion anyway I don't have the math to figure it out That's good enough at Boeing though hehe. Try to use no extensions though or the shortest one possible. My 2c.
