Ball joint or cv joint
Ball joint or cv joint
I turned my steering wheel when I stopped my car in garage. I heard some noise from the right side of my car. It heard like a ball joint or the cv joint, but I am not sure. It is kinda wired that it would disappear when the weather was warm. But came up when the weather changed from warm to cold. I wonder whether it is becasue my tight suspension or one of the joint is pretty bad.
What mileage does your car have on the odometer? Check the condition of the rubber boots that protect the CV joint(s). Look for tears in the rubber folds where the CV joint's grease could escape. Lack of lubrication, as in drying, contamination, or loss of grease is a prime cause of CV joint failure.
