my headlight is f-ed up

my left headlight is all messed up, it starts off fine when i turn it on but then 3 seconds later it fads to like a redish purple color, im taking it in tommorow, but has this happened to anyone else

Bulb is out...they turn red when they are f)*cked up. New bulb, good to go...
