Christmas is around the corner and wifey asked what I want for the car. She is great and has gifted me most of the stuff I have.
I am thinking
BBK full

the above needs a bunch of other pieces head studs, valve springs, retainers
Map ported exhaust
Map ported intake
throttle body
3port
bar sensor
Saikou Mich Co catch can

I dont know? any suggestions?

I have a BBK full and love it, so i would say turbo and build the head up cams, valves etc.. or not sure if you have any exterior mods but JDM bumper is always a good item .. Really up to you what you want to do with the car. But hope this helps and this is my 2 cents

You don't need to do retainers when you do valve springs.

If you are wanting to change the turbo then I would recommend to not change out the cams.

You will save money and not have to crack open the motor.

I will agree with you, it was costly to do all the head work at once

Man you have a nice wife. I would get the turbo. My wife would ask how much the turbo would cost and then say you don't need that!! Then again if I want something I just buy it myself, my wife thinks all I have ever put on my car is an exhaust and fmic lol.

^ thanks, yeah she's cool. Wifey likes to buy stuff that people would really use and like. I always tell her the parts help get better gas mileage lol. she smirks and says im full of **** . I'm going to go the route of a turbo. It will be a tough sell to her to drop that kind of coin for xmas. I am going to ask for the catch can( Ive wanted it for a while) and map brake package. I will put the BBK on the list and see what happens.

Don't do it. The car will run worse, and it won't be as responsive and as fun to drive.

Hey FJF, lol at the bold print of suggestions. You think the BBK will make the car run worse? supposed to have pretty close to stock spool. I'm planning just to ask for the catch can and brake package along with throwing the BBK on the list. From there I think I will be done with the car other than some supension and brake upgrades.
