Yeah, we ended up getting 350hp and 330 or so on torque with the pump gas but my timing was retarded more than the stock ecu's timing. In the end we think it was some bad pump gas, cuz there was no noise (no knock) on the 100oct runs. I don't mind that we had some bad gas for the pump gas tune, cuz I know that it was tuned conservatively for it.

yeah.. pump gas is a hit and miss all the time.. i try to stick with shell.. since i've heard that people have had the lowest knock with it, and i feel (butt dyno) that it's been working well for me too...

but u still never know!

i got a really crap fill of the magic sunoco 94 out in jersey this past summer that had my car limping (after 5200rpms it hit fuel cut big time!) for a long time on the way home!!

Considering you have the HKS 272's, why do you suppose your HP is falling past 7000 rpm?

Cuz, the turbo is really ineficient at that boost level.

those numbers are insane!! its almost unreal. I wonder how those numbers compare to an awd dyno. The most made on a stock turbo on an awd Dynojet is 360-370whp. I guess the difference is about 40hp? did you forget to mention the 75 shot of NOS?LOL!!

No nitrous on chad's car YET!

I gotta admitt I am very impressed with that car of his. After martin got done working his magic and swaped the diff back out we took the car out for a spin. I don't think anyone was expecting the thing to blow the tires away and go sideways in second when cahd floored it! I know I sure didn't.

After personally driving the car for 6hours on the drive home I must give AMS and AEM much props, the car has great drivability <except it build boost to fast when you are just trying to cruise>, and got 20+mpg the entire way home as well. Very impressive.

Might be time to trade the Z in on a evo
