I just noticed my stock intercooler was dented
I was wondering if it's something major that i need to replace
does it affect the power or will it be more prone to heating?

Take it off and have it pressure tested or do a boost leak test. My oem ic was a bit worse than that and it was fine.

 

ya youd be amazed how some intercoolers can take a beating, got an after market one much worse then that and shes holding boost tight

but ya boost leak test, if you get the tester up to 20 psi youll hear something coming out of that intercooler if its leaking belive me
