shifter bushings wear in ?

hi guys , i recently installed torque solutions shifter base and cable (under hood) bushings in my evo8 . after installing them the shifter definately felt more solid and the gears clicked right in smoothly.
its been a few weeks now (maybe a month) and the shifter feel seems to have gone back to how it was before i installed these parts? do these parts wear in or should i check them again / uninstall/ re install / tighten.. i really dont want to take them out again, the shifter base ones may be fine to check but the underhood ones were a real PITA to install

anyone with any info if thats how they are or they wear in would be much appreciated if you could share your exp , thanks !
