EF3 will get you to that goal on crappy 92/93......EF4 would be way too much turbo for your goals

I bought used injectors and turbo and had decent luck. I bought a new FMIC. So it can be done. Don't forget to get new OEM gaskets, bolts, studs, nuts and washers. Try to get the turbo with the J-Pipe or you may have to get a IX J-Pipe. I personally would get new lines too. $h!t adds up!
No, even the Garages Order you the parts & have to pay for shipping as well, so it's no diffrence if i order through a Garage or through the internet at home, either way i'll be bitten by the shipment, the most Expensive shipment was for the TBE, others not so much

I love my FIC 1100 High Z's.

Are you getting a IC core and have it being built at home?

True, sorry didnt see it. I dont see how youre not close to 400awhp already with what you have. I would suggest 1000cc+ injectors, upgraded intercooler 3.5"+, LICP, and ported intake mani and throttle body with a C16 race gas tune and you should be at 450.

I'm running a stock turbo on my IX and making 370hp/365tq on pump gas but I dont have cams or a race gas/e85 tune. Mods: Walbro 255, FIC 880's, AEM fuel rail, megan exhaust manifold/O2 housing, Perrin test pipe, TurboXS 3" TBE and a home made intake with a crappy BLOX filter. Everything else is stock so you can make close to 450 with just a few minor upgrades to your set up and a good tune. I have a JestR tune.

FP Red. Cost more, I rode in an 8 with one and it was very responsive and pulled great. I dont think the car had 450whp but around 420whp. Dont know anything about the EF3 though.

I heard the EF3's were pretty good, but I would rather stick with a company thats been making turbos for quite a bit.

I would like to get an FP black just sounds amazing and gives you so much more to work with when trying to upgrade later down the road

my ultimate goal is to have a garage kept evo at 700hp

$1.08 per Gallon. Damn thats cheap

Always get a bigger turbo than you need at this time because you will want to upgrade later.

+1. The fp red was on sale $2250 so id go with that. Not to bash ef3 but i know a guy that has alot of experience with evos and steered me away frrom it. Im sure guys will jump and say other companies make great turbos but FP is proven and then some. Look at my sig and thats what im doing to reach that goal and keep E85 as an option for more power. Even if u dont have that corn fuel as an option now u never know if it will become one. I would suggest cams also. U want a nice power curve up top and some kelfords will do just that. Again ef3 is nice on the wallet but for me i went with Ball bearing fp red. Ya guys make great power on JBs but BBs i thimk are the the way to go. I researched for about a month and chose FP. But an ef3 im sure will get u there as well. For me i love knowing that i have turbo that is tried and true best of luck with ur build.
