your only true hope is the previous owner bought another Evo after he crashed the one you have now, an is still consistently on the forums... but the thread title will need to be very specific :

-Carfax/Autocheck will state where the car was last registered, so start with that as the assumed location.

-Year/model and where the hit/damage was on the car.

-Maybe the last four digits of the Vin# to narrow it down even further...
