Evo IX Dash vs Evo IX RS Dash

Hello All,

Recently I have purchased the Evo IX RS radio and climate control surround. I love the look over the silver surround. I kinda want to get rid of the cheap pseudo carbon fiber dash accent. I have seen a couple pictures of the RS dash (at least a 2004), does anyone have any good pictures of it? I looked on google image but couldnt find anything. Thanks

I thought I had some better ones...but here's a shot of my IX RS. Too much sun to see the plastic color differences, though:

Thanks for the response, so your dash material where like the vents and hazard lights button is it the same material and design as the surround for the radio and climate? I can't tell from the pictures.

^ Yo Joe!

Frew: No, the materials are different. The broad/wide plastic bezel around the hazard and AC vents is a smooth silver. The plastic bezel around the radio and climate controls is a textured black color. The material around the gauges (battery/Boost/Oil) is a sort of annodized gun-metal...

Hope that helps!

The trim that runs across the dash is the same faux carbon fiber, atleast it was in 2 of the 9 RS' I am familiar with. But the radio bezel trim is textured and black instead of the smooth silver.

Although these are promo pics from the '04 RS...the interior dash (excluding gauges, steering wheel, shift knob, seats, etc) stayed the same:
