Hid cable going from the lower beam to higher beam.

I have an 03 Evo 8 with the adjusting headlights. I reinstalled my headlights and my driver side headlight makes the sound like its moving but doesn't. The cable running from the Lower beam to the high beam doesn't turn. When I look at it on the metal gear the plastic piece is stripped out. Im wondering what part number it is and where to get it. Any help would be appreciated. I can turn the actual cable by hand but its hard and like I said you can see the one side is actually stripped out.

Thanks.
Tony

that cable doesn't do anything but move the high beam. I took mine off when I adjusted my headlights. low beams will still adjust fine without it

chances are the motor is shot on the drivers side them

have a friend stick his head down on the drivers side right behind the headlight and listen for any noise when you adjust them. if he can't hear anything then the motor isn't working

might want to pull the leveling motor off then and either have your buddy look to make sure it's turning and if so, make sure none of the gears are stripped. if you can hear it working there shouldn't be any reason it's not leveling the drivers side headlight unless a gear is stripped out

you're talking about low-beams only, correct? because i am. the only way the high beams will adjust is with that first cable i was talking about that i removed
