hi guys so i went WOT 1st gear and after about 5k rpm it felt the car had no more power and would not pull harder, somewhat like it was stuck / clutch slip feeling ?? im not sure, but it only does it in first gear !! all other gears can be pushed to 7500rpm with plenty of pull through the gear .. im stumped, i can only think of the limited boost for 1st gear, but i dont remember it being like this 6months ago etc

*clutch is less than 10,000ks old.. and its only first gear !!
*thought it was intake collapsing but replaced with samco silicone last month

any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated !

>edit: i notice the times this has happened may have been when i WOT after starting the car (although the car had only been stopped briefly and was still warm?? ) not sure if this could be the issue

 

Got a boost gauge ?

 

i use to have a 3 set of hks oil/water/boost but the module died on me so i just use my ebc as a boost gauge, (HKS evc5)

 

What psi are you running? boost wise...

 

1.5 bar / 21 psi
