2003 Evo VIII Spark Plugs

Hi all, im not sure which spark plugs to get for my evo, im going to go for iridium ones but not sure whether to get the NGK BR7EIX or BR8EIX?

The BR7's are for the standard engines and the BR8's are suitable for tuned engines.

My car is the standard 8 fq300, with the hks intercooler piping, apexi induction kit, hks super dragger exhaust and also has a fq330 piggyback ecu upgrade. I will soon have a genuine evo 9 turbo.

Which plug would be the best?

Looking forward to your responses! :-)

^^^ This!

I run the coppers on mine. Just change them more often.

Yes the iridium ones are fairly expensive compared to the copper. But the ngk 7's will work fine for my setup with the evo 9 turbo? Or would the br8's be better?

Cheers.

I've been running BR8EIX on my 04 VIII with excellent result for the last 3k miles.
I had the copper tips then swapped back to iridium tips. Had better performance - feels more responsive, more power and less maintenance... GL
