Intake cam advanced. Did a search and it seems like after lots of trials to fix this in replacing mechanical parts.... people just wind up deleting the code. Is there a real mechanical fix to this that I have missed?

 

I have he same code but been deleting it and still it comes back

 

This is making me regret getting a mivec car..

 

The cause of that on my car was the MIVEC cam gear was bad-probably had something blocking passages in it or something.

 

Did you simply replace the cam gear then or did you have to go in and do some cleaning? If so describe your process please.

 

Turns out in my case the lower timing belt cover broke a peice of plastic into the gears and caused the crank to jump 2 gears. Hopefully no valve contact. I would just get fuel cut when i try to roll into the throttle...
