Had a similar problem found out that voltage would drop to 12v and idle like crap ended up being two thing one voltage regulator on the alternators. And second item was the fan control module. Pulling to much amperage with the fan would come on. Also dont think that the small battery helps much.

I have the same problem and i found out what was wrong with mine.

I recently took out my tb and clean the black stuff that was on the tb. As i do that, i didnt know that black stuff help to seals the air from coming into the intake manifold. I bought another tb from a guy on evom and the black seals was still there and my idle is fine again.
No more drop in rpm and no more stalling out when i turn on my ac.

But also check you aic sensor to see if it need to be change.

You can check if air is leaking out of your tb by using a flash light and point it one side of the tb and look thru the other side of the tb and see if you see a little lights show thru. If it is , then thats your idle problem. When the tb fully closed, there shouldnt be any visible light shows thru the inside of the tb.
