Sandblasting

I was just wondering if you were to buy used exhaust components and sand blast them to clean them up a little bit. Would that at all pose danger to the motor or reliability of the car? Also would it damag the exhaust in anyway? Thanks for the help in advance!

would all depend on what your sandblasting and with what type of media. If the part is coated it would remove that coating and take it down to bare metal and in a few months it would just look the same.
